We raise and sell only Registered Tamworth Pork. The Tamworth hog is considered a heritage breed and originates from Tamworth England. The breed was once popular here in middle Tennessee but since it was considered a "bacon" type hog it became less popular when the focus shifted to the fatter "lard" type hogs.

The Tamworth is naturally lean, and a good forager. Some reports state the forage (grass, broadleaf weeds, roots and nuts) account for as much as 40% of their diet. Since swine can not live totally on pasture, we do supplement with locally grown corn. We also provide needed vitamins and minerals in their feed.

We will no longer offer breeding stock or feeders due to increased demand for our pork products.
